Right, after putting my car through its MOT the other week it scrapped through on its back discs and i got an advisory on both the discs and pads on the back

Ah well its an excuse to get some shiney new ones

Was hoping that my exhaust was going to fail for blowing or something so i could justify a Sports Cat Back but brakes will do

Planning on doing the brakes sometime after christmas and the front ones could probably do with doing as well not too long after.

After researching a few different options from converting to 330 discs (proved A LOT of work) and oversized brake upgrades (proved VERY expensive lol)

I have decided to stay OEM size but go for upgraded discs and upgraded pads

Been looking at a few reviews and have decided im going to go for....

    These EBC Ultimax Slotted Discs:

    http://www.europerformance.co.uk/pag...roduct=3938951

And these Performance Friction Carbon Mettalic Z Rated pads:

    http://store.bimmerworld.com/shared/...t=products.asp

Or maybe these Ferodo DS2500 pads

    http://www.europerformance.co.uk/pag...oduct=15264996

Not sure on which pads to go for yet

Any body got any comments on the mentioned set up?

And is anybody running a set up that they are pleased with and would like to recommend?

    Cheers

Lilo, recently upgraded to ebc turbo's, which are slotted and drilled, but not slotted or drilled completely through the disc so as not to cause weak spots, also using green stuff pads. Only on mobile at the mo, will look to see if I have any pics when on the computer later.
