    Hi just read something , cant even remember where abouts on the forum anyway, what is binding brakes? or Brake binding

    It is where the brakes are always slighly on because the brake calliper is seized, and wont fully let go of the brake disc even when you let go of the brake pedal.

    If it is a front brake set up doing it you may feel a vibration through the steering, also the wheel that the brakes binding inside will become hot, even to touch after a journey.

    Thanks yes it does , and thats what I have got , to fix this is it a case of getting new callipers or is there something I can do to the ones that are sticking?

    I had this on my E46 325ti Compact and after multiple attempts at greasing it to free the sticking mechanism it kept binding....

    I'd advise not waisting your time and opt for some new calipers, they are like £50 each and at least then you know they will be fine
