    Hello Gents, Ladies If Applicable

I recently purchased a BMW 325ci convertible and it is now due MOT. My local garage gave it a once over and there are a few things which need to be done. Considering I am working with a tight budget I need help in deciding what parts to purchase.

    1) Rear coil spring has broken - Euro parts supply a make called Anschler are they any good? Also what could be the reason behind the broken spring?

    2) Brake disc and pads all round - Euro parts supply two brands which are within my budget. Which 1 of the 2 would you recommend Pagid or Eicher?

Thanks in advance for your reponse.

The standard springs break - a very common E46 problem, rarely catastrophic failure though. I've not heard of that make, so I'd be cautious - but the replacement price from the dealers is extortionate.

Pagid all the way on the pads & discs.

    Thanks for the response pal.

So I am assuming if I change the springs it will be ok for another 1-2 years but it could go sooner due to a common fault! Also what could be the issues if I opted to go for the brand mentioned above (Anschler)?

make sure correct springs for the car verts are a heavy car.. most of these websites tend to generalise spring applications and are vague at best..
