    Hi,
I'm hoping someone can help, i want to replace the steering coupling to see if the twitchy steering problem will go away! Problem is i've checked the Real OEM site for my car and it doesn't list the part number, check out the link below.

    http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...42&hg=32&fg=30

I need part number 2 in the diagram but it doesn't list the number, can anyone tell me if the part is still available?
I've replaced the shocks all round (Bilstein B4), fitted new Meyle wishbones, new powerflex control arm and ARB bushes and new drop links. My car feels very twitchy on uneven roads, i can't really notice much play at the wheel and the track rods feel solid so i'm hoping the steering coupling will cure the handling issues.

    regards,

    Jim.

Afraid i cannot find the part for mine either, although dont worry - it is still produced as this is a regularly purchased part.

In your case where you have stated that you have made major changes from spec on your suspension can i ask the all to often forgotten question...

have you had your tracking done after these changes???

I haven't had the car aligned as yet, that's next on the list. I just hope it works.
