Here's a pic of my front brake pipe i removed from my car, my heart skipped a beat when i spotted it. I've decided to replace all the brake lines with Goodridge stainless.

Both my calipers were in a right state with both pistons badly corroded and one ripped dust seal. Refurbished calipers are £55 each from Eurocar parts, they have a new piston and seals throughout and seem to be plated to resist corrosion.

My brake lines should be in on tuesday and i'll get the car up and running again.

    Hey Jim.

    Good find about the calipers.
I've recently just changed my brake setup and found the the old ones to be some state for just 2 years old. The pipe ends were a total mare to get free and i just ended up cutting the little supporting brackets to get good purchase.

Very good, the brakes are a lot sharper now they have bedded in. Although i'm not sure how much the brake lines help as i've replaced the pads all round, the front calipers and bled the brake system as well, but i'm very pleased as the brakes are excellent now.

    Jim.
