    Hi All,

I am after lowering my suspension to the same height as the M-sport models, I have the full genuine M-sport kit on it and it just sits a little high, is it best sticking to genuine parts? Will I need to change the struts etc or just the springs? Any help will be much appreciated!

i would match the struts to the springs if funds allow
also, consider changing the bushes to powerflex items if you're stripping it all down
    what i've felt,what i've known
never shined through in what i've shown.

After a few weeks deliberating I have finally bought myself a set of Eibach lowering springs, they were only £135 and luckily 2 mates own a bodyshop so the deal is I buy breakfast and they will fit them on Saturday!! happy days! I found out that the Eibach springs will sit straight onto the original struts so no need to pay a fortune and change everything! I will put some pictures up when its done!

I fitted the Eibach gs last weekend (well not me personlly) it did however cost me £17 quid in breakfast for my mates who know have there own body shop! The went on really easy, the front struts have to come off to fit them and the rear springs can go on without having to take the struts/wheels off just jack up the back and you have easy access! They had all the kit including spring compressors etc (these things scare me due to the amount of pressure they put the springs under!!

Everything got put back together and it looked fantastic, it sat so better than previous! I took it for a drive and it seemed to handle alot better also, not as much roll on corners etc, I do however have to go at snails pace when I go over speed bumps as the crap guards on each side of the front bumper scrape quite alot! I dont really mind as long as its not the sump!!

I didn't take any before pictures but i will defo take some after ones tomorrow after the lights are done!!
