    im after lowering my 2001 330.... im stickin to 18" alloys would i be ok to lower it on springs 50mm at front and 40mm at rear without it rubbin or catchin? also is it ok to just fit springs to standard shockers?

    the drops you mention will be fine for clearance if you have stock 18's...if you have replica's it might be a little close.
    i would say that drop really wants shortened damper rods as the standard units probably wont last too long...you may even need shorter arb drop links for a 50mm drop at the front.

    Agree with the above, it would be highly recomended to change the dampers as well.

    Personally I would say some nice Bilstein B8 dampers and a Eibach Sportline kit - will be a lovely set up
