    Hi

My pads warning light has now come on and i was wondering what pads to get and where to get them from as bmw wants ££ for them.

Another question is are they easy to replace, a diy job?

    Will

ECP or GSF will do either OEM or after market pads cheaper than the dealers.

Yes, the job is an easy DIY if you want to do yourself mate.

A worn brake pad sensor is what bought up the warning light in the first place. You will find 2 pad sensors on your car, 1 is NSF and the other is OSR. The other end leads to a junction box under the arch. This is where the pad sensor and wheel speed sensor cables plug in.

For your E46, you need to turn the key to IGN pos 2 without starting, and leave for up to 30 seconds ...for the next time Mark
