Following on from a thread i made yesterday and after sleeping on what the garage told me i feel very uneasy. I was told my handbrake shoes have broken up and damaged the disc, this was said by examination and no removal of the disc. My concern is, is the garage touting for buisiness or are my concerns unfounded?
I have been told the works will cost over £700 for new discs all round (front one is also slightly warped), new pads, new handbrake shoes and new wishbone bushes. This seems kind of a lot to me and its really playing on my mind so i would appreciate any help and advise,
    Thanks,
    Martyn

Thanks for the reply iceman, the handbrake wont work correctly and you can hear the shoe rattling about when the wheel is turned. The guy is ex bmw and very helpful but it just seemed expensive to me. Cant do it myself as i'm working 11/12 hours a day at the mo and i need the car for Friday, otherwise i would.
