Following the collection of my car from its service today it needs the rear springs replacing (and new water pump, rad and hoses) because the passenger side one has cracked.
Knowing what they garage will quote me for a pair of OE rear springs, I can get a set of lowering springs for not much more - but which ones?
GSF have a set for £84.50 (+ VAT) but I have no idea what brand they are or the drop - so I'm somewhat secptical.
C3BMW do a set of Boge springs for £94 with a 40mm front and 30mm rear drop (possibly a bit more than I wanted as I don't want it so low that it gets annoying with speed bumps etc)
Direct from Eibach I can get a Pro-Kit for £155.36 (25mm front / 15mm rear) or the Sportline kit for £142.47 (30 - 35mm front / 15mm rear).
Does anyone have any experience with any of the above? Pics would be good.
To be honest, the rear seems quite low anyhow which puts me off the Boge ones a bit.
Also, any idea on how long it takes for fitting (at least then I can get a rough idea of the total cost).
