When changing to coilover suspension, does the ride become quite firm? Or does it vary on how/low the suspension is set?

The reason i was asking, is the that 2 of the shocks are leaking slightly and need replacing soon. I was thinking of putting some extra money and getting some coilovers. But ill only go ahead if the ride comfort becomes harder.

Anyone with coilovers, whats the ride like?

    Thanks

why do you want a harder ride?
and afaik coilovers will give you a firmer ride
    what i've felt,what i've known
