    hi i drove the car to work today when i stopped smoke came from nsf wheel on looking at the wheel it was warm to touch,could the caliper be the problem?the car has new pads and disks.

    the NSF caliper went on my 330 at 85k, also a year 2000. they are quite common it seems, well the place that supplied me with a new one said as much

    Same happened on my m3,caliper was sticking on.eventually it siezed on fully and knackered the disc.

    when mine went i freed it up and fitted new discs and pads, it was fine for about2k then it seized on proper so i had to replace the discs and pads all over again. cost me a fortune

    Sounds very much like a sticking caliper..or mis aligned pads.
    I don't suffer from insanity......... I enjoy it!!!!
