Just getting a pair of back tyres fitted at Kwikfit and having brakes checked as were squealing. turns out that the back caliper has seized on the back nearside - result...disks warped and everything pads etc screwed.
Apparently you have to replace the disks in pairs or the car will pull to one side, the disks also have shoes inside them for the handbrake?
I'm waiting for a quote...but it's going to be horrific. Any ideas?
I got the tyre quote from 320 to 200 by using a price match from mytyre.co.uk and hoping I can do something similar with this?
Any advice, and quick, would be appreciated as I'm faced with an unroadworthy car and god knows how much they'll quote.
