I got some Powerflex bushes from the front end of my 330 last week, so got around to fitting them at the weekend. My set-up called for the 66mm Front Wishbone Rear Bushing, and 23mm Anti-Roll Bar bushes.
I had read various how-to's, and watched that Youtube video on the subject, so knew it would be manageable.
Starting at the easy bits, the ARB bushes were a doddle to replace. The new ones are way stiffer than the old spongy things that were in there, and beginning to end was less than 20 minutes.
The Front Wishbone Rear Bushes were a bit more difficult - I already had some "lollipop" bush holders, so had pressed the new bushes into them first (wash-up liquid aplenty & in they popped)! I had a 3 arm bearing puller, but this ended up gripping the outside of the old bushes only, leaving the centre bit birmly wedged onto the wishbone. A bit of light hammering with a hammer & bolster, and it all soon popped off. Putting the new insert on first was tricky, as I found that when it was on first, the main bush wouldn't slide fully over it easily. So I ended up taking the insert off, and pre-installing it on the main bush. I used a malled to get the whole thing onto the wishbone, tightened it up (a bit tricky to give it the final push required - but I got there in the end), but the bracing etc back on - job done. That whole bit took me about 2 hours - the first side being 1h 15mins, the 2nd side being 45 mins!
Driving the car now is what I imagine it was like when it was new - it drives so nicely.
