Hi guys,
I noticed, firstly, that I was getting excessive tyre wear on the inside of both front tyres - there was a noticeable judder in the steering at approx 65mph, and the steering was not as sharp as once was.
To cut a long story short, new front wishbones (with the attaching rear bushes) were replaced after an inspection along with some new rubber on the front wheels. The results in the handling and steering were terrific but I'm still unsure about the tyre wear.
Is it likely that the knackered wishbone bushes held the car off-camber at the front causing the excessive tyre wear, and that's now remedied?
Or should I get my pride & joy in for a 4 wheel alignment?
Any thoughts greatly appreciated. :thumbsup
