you can change the bushes on their own
afaik all e46 are the same...only differences being arb bush sizes
would also recommend getting a 4 wheel alignment after any suspension work

When you order the bushes make sure you say it's for E46 Compact and then they will deffo fit. Only bushes on the front are the anti roll bar and the lower arm trailing.
The rear there is rear trailing ,anti roll bar and subframe mounting bushes.
It shouldn't cost any more for a garage to fit than normal.

I recently had front powerflex bushes fitted to my E46 323, the car feels different when driving but makes alot of noise. Every time I take my foot of the brakes, pressing the clutch pedal (when stopping), going over bumps - also noticed with the radio off its make the noise when parking. The noise feels like somethings about to fall off.

Anyone having the same problem ?

No. That sounds abnormal and potentially dangerous requiring you to take the car to a specialist to be looked over.

    i did...and the cost was 300 quid
but...for that i was shown where the rear bushes had worn and had touched the arms/body...so authorised new powerflex rear bushes to be fitted.
all 4 wheels needed the camber and toe adjusted...and the car drove so much better afterwards i thought i had taken the wrong car out the car park

i founf the easy way to push the new powerflex bush into the lollypop was to place it on the lollypop and put it on the jack under the car and jack it up and it pushes it up! and pop hey presto its in!

I had them on the front lower rear what ever its called on the arms because the 18" stretched the bushes, they were amazing! Have a different car now but they tighted the steering up made it feel a lot more secure and precise, im getting them for my 328 now!
