So ive had a week off work and have been looking over the car and sorting a few anoying things that have been bugging me sorted the sticky throttle body and why i was draing out the surplus litre of oil that the previous owner had put in i thought i would check all the other bits like track rods ect ect i had a look at the ARB and i can move it from left to right and is slightly loose in the bushes i take it this is not normal and just wanted someone with abit more knowlege to confirm this if so is it worth going for the powerflex bushes all help will be apreciated

Powerflex get the vote from me, fitted a set last year along with new brackets and nuts the difference was immediate

Try CRN here on the forums, good price and quick delivery

Nope one of mine was worn more than the other and the ARB wouldn't move that much.
Bet they're the original set that came out of the factory too

The size should be on the side of your ARBs it might be covered in $hite but it should be there, alternatively telephone dealers parts
dept, they'll be able to tell you what size was fitted at factory just with the last 7 digits of your vin no.

There were 2 different size ARB's fitted to your vintage of E46; the vast majority were 22.5mm diameter, but some heavier duty cars got 24.6mm. I'd put money on your ones being the smaller ones.
