    as title will any other standard brakes off e46 models fit mine ,disks and pads i mean, and will they be much improvment over my sized ones or would i just be better buying after market drilled ones with decent pads ds2500 for instance

    you can fit the 330 set up but you'd need calipers/carriers etc (cant remember if they have a bigger master cylinder) also you'd need 17" wheels minimum.

    ah right, iv got 18" m3 rims so should be no problem

    I also believe (please check, I don't have an E46) that the E46 328 brake discs will fit.

    Change the disc rotor and carriers (you don't need the calipers / any of the hydraulics). This upgrades you to 300mm.

    The 330 mod takes you up to 320mm, but the downside is you'll need to source the calipers and an uprated master cylinder (off the 330) or you'll have a long travel pedal.

    Neither mod will be a 'night & day' change, but couple it with some fast road (EBC) pads and it'll be a noticeable improvement, MUCH more economic than forking out for an aftermarket big brake kit.
