Hi all this might be nothing but i will still ask. i have a 323 e46 saloon. When driving at mid to high speeds it just doesnt feel right. its as if i have no control of the car. I have had many other bmws before and not had this problem. The back end just feels loose. Also when stationary with the hand brake on, if i try to pull away the rear dips down unevenly. The off-side dips allot more. Any help would be appreciated cheers. Raj

You better take it to a garage!!
One way to see if theres anything wrong with your suspension is to put all your weight on that corner and push it down. The car should come up and then settle again.

Whatever you do don't drive at mid-high speeds until it's sorted!!!

Any clunking from the rear end? especially if you lift the clutch up quickly in a forward gear or reverse?

"could" be a subframe mounting failure or rear trailing arm bushes.
