I seem to have a big gap between my wheels and arches it's around 30-40 mm at the back (there's actuall a 10mm difference between left and right rear).

and it's about the 20-30 on the front I am running 18" bayern alloys with 225/40 front and 255/35 rear.

Could I have a suspension issue or does the car just need lowered?

Any advice on cobra or Eibach springs?

How long ago did you lower the vehicle. It can take a while to settle in.

MotechMike does some lowering springs for just over £70 but the choice is down to you. There are so many options and different brands. Obviously the more you pay, the better quality you will get. Stuff like PI, Apex is more lower range and Eibach, Koni are more top end but you pay for what you get. I got Apex springs on mine and it handles pretty well considering i have crap tyres on the front. All depends on your budget.

Thanks for the info, I was just wondering though with the big difference I seem to have especially at both rear ends would I need a complete suspension set up or would lowering springs do the trick?

I posted something about lowering an E46 last week and the ebach springs were highly remmonmended by a couple of people.
If your shocks are in good condition you can just use them

Are yours staggered because i seen on a fourm that they can catch if you run 255 18s but that is only if you have 9.5" rear rims?
