I posted this earlier, but in the wrong place it seems.
I think I've found out why my car tramlines on uneven surfaces.
The inner balljoint on the control arm is worn. I can feel slight movement when someone is turning the steering wheel and I've got my hand on the balljoint.
The balljoint is part of the control arm and not available seperately, which is a real pain as the cost of a new control arm is stupid.
So, as I have to buy one, which do you chaps think is the best place to get one, considering I have just bought the car so money is tight.
So you know, the offending balljoint is on the drivers side control arm, which interestingly was only replaced a few months ago according to receipts in the handbook wallet. That was from GSF, so I don't think they would be my favourite supplier.
Meyle are expensive, but I don't want to skimp either.
