I'm after a set of lowering springs for my newly acquired 1999 E36 318is Coupe, which I believe has the m-tech suspension.

I've read that a 35/40mm drop is the max on the standard shockers, and this will be fine for me. There seem to be many brands to choose from, so I was just after a bit of advice from someone in the know.

    Found these, any good?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

    Cheers in advance

I put a set of Eibach springs on my 1997 318is Coupe, which gave a front drop of 30mm and 15mm at the rear. First time out at Cadwell the car handled well, but was a touch lively at the rear and it just looked odd, being too high at the back for my liking.

To get an additional 15mm drop at the rear I unfortunately had to invest in another full set of springs, which were H&R, Ijust couldn't find a pair of rears. I haven't had the car out yet, but it looks better balanced. Don't forget you'll need to adjust the camber when the springs are fitted, you will need additional negative.

I'm going to sell the Eibachs I took off the rear, which have only done 150 miles and the H&R fronts, which are 60mm drops and are brand new.

    Hope this helps.
