1: When I park on a slope (it doesn't have to be a big one either) the car will role forward and its as if the parking brake isn't holding it poperly.

2: When I get out and close the door the rear driver side wheel moves and makes a noise as if it's not being held properly.

    3: I also get a noise when changing gear like a low thud but only changing from 1st - 2nd and 2nd - 3rd

Any ideas? could they all be related?

1-2 the noise you get one parked seems like your handbrake cables need adjusting or replacing same goes for discs pads .

3 - this noise could possibly be something to do with the prop shaft or bush or diff

    gd luck

I would think that the shoes inside the rear disks (handbrake shoes) probably require adjusting up. Not too difficult to do, or expensive if you decide to pay to get them done.

Thudding noise could well be propshaft mounting/bush etc.... Would advise getting a garage to take a look underneath (you can decide what to do with it from then - or you could have a look yourself).

I would get it done before the MOT if I were you. Saves getting a failure notice, or at the very least an advisory. Either way, big brother gets to know something was awry
2002 325 Compact Sport ti M-Tec---- A little thanks goes a long way

I've moved your thread to the correct forum, please have a read of the forum rules regarding posting in the correct sections http://www.bimmerforums.co.uk/forum/...delines-t1603/

Also could you please remember to add the vehicle details in the thread title next time as per forum rules please, they have been done for you this time. It makes it far easier for people looking up help for their own problems or conversions.
