I've had a quick search for answers to this but couldn't find anything conclusive.
I've recently bought a 320d and it has been lowered by a previous owner. I've decided it's not for me and want to either return it to it's original height or at least raise it a bit. Now I don't know anything about suspension really but am capable of changing it. I think the shockers might be original but the springs look shorter plus they are red instead of black which I'd expect from standard.
The front n/s shocker is about to give up the ghost too so I'm thinking I may as well sort this out altogether. So my question is would a set of springs (plus 2 shockers on the front) be ok to give it some height or as I suspect might be the case, should I replace everything?
I missed out on a full set of suspension components from a 70k miles car for £60 a few days ago and I've seen a set of adjustable suspension by Tuning Art on eBay for £146. To be honest I really don't want to spend a lot on doing this as the car only cost £780 in the first place but I enjoy working on it and it runs as sweet as a nut.
Any help or decent advice would be greatly appreciated.
