I have to replace the active suspension pipework in 740il on the weekend and am without a Bentley manual at present. Is there anything special I need to do to bleed the system? Do I need to reset anything with inpa?

    Thanks in advance.
    Regards

is it the suspension pipework e.g. the EDC system? and the pipework for that? if so its connected to the power steering system, and you dont really need to bleed it or anything, just drain, fix, and then full up, and thats about it really

Well got the pipework replaced. Interestingly the parts diagram for the suspension at the rear doesn't show 2 of the pipes. These are on the front suspension diagram. Ordered the parts from BMW (on special order) after asking if I have everything I need for the rear pipework and they still got it wrong. Oh well sorted now. Whilst under there noticed that my 6000 mile tires were knackered. Bought 2 more and got a 4 wheel alignment. Seems to drive just a little bit nicer than before.
    Regards
