I am in need of some new pads and discs on my 323.

Just wondering if they are 283mm or 286mm, or does it not matter? I mean, what is 3mm?!

I was going to go for these...

    Mintex discs/pads for £40

I ordered a set of them for my 316i. Not those exactly, but Mintex ones on ebay.

    Hoping they're up to standard!!

3mm is quite a difference for the pad meeting the disc. Your fronts are 286mm and rears are 276mm. As for the Mintex, all I can say is what you pays is what you gets...and that isn't going to be efficient braking . Btw, see posting rules for your next thread title

I only bought for a quick fix, I'm going to upgrade the brakes soon but can't afford it atm.

So they shouldn't be on the car for long!

I saw the name mitex and thought they would be pretty good...

I've always fitted cheapo motaquip discs and pads and never had any problems.

Never done it to a bimmer though...
