Just wondering if anyone has H&R suspension on there cars and what they are like, also how much is the bmw's m-tech suspension lowered on a 97 e36 coupe compared by the standard ride height and what is the standard ride height? just wondering so I can predict the final ride height when lowering 40mm front and 15mm rear or to go with 30mm front, thanks for any help

I use H&R coilovers on my E36. Quality product and not a harsh ride even when lowered as far as I can get on 20" RYM's

M-Tech suspension is usually approximately 15mm than a standard model

So long as you do not exceed 40mm on standard shocks you will be fine. It would be beneficial to replace suspension items such as lower control arm and lower control arm bushes and also front and rear top strut/shock mounts
