Just a quick one, does any one know the size of the top nut that holds the top mount on to the shock. I have to buy a socket tomorrow so would like to get it right first time. Checked thr Bentley but no sizes are given.

    Cheers

Just checked...And after some faffing about in the dark with sockets...Its 17mm My old van was 21

17mm, and you'll need an allen key to hold the damper

Sorry guys just realised its a 328 shocker i am stripping for the parts that's why my socket doesn't fit from last time. It looks to be maybe a 21mm, but help would be appreciated as i dont want to buy a whole set of sockets.

    Cheers
