    Those are the front coilovers are they not?
    Its the rears that need the washer et al putting on...

    http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...86&hg=33&fg=45 the exploded diagram should help-its usually part No6 that if missing f***'s everything AFAIK...however you should reassemble the rear exactly as in the pic with all washers etc in the correct order and you should not have any problems
