AP or Weitec coilovers are what I recommend for a cheap as possible - any cheaper and its just a worry!

If you want a better handling then either Eibach, KW or H&R personally

Does it not make you wonder about the quality of them though? 185 for a set of coilovers... thats £46.25 per corner.... if you think in tyres that is a CHEAP tyre.... and cheap usually means... poo

I know these only cost something like £18 per corner to manufacturer.

Some really good dampers should be costing around £300-400 alone..and some nice springs like Eibach £140

I have Vmaxx coilovers on mine at the min at £300 for a full set and they are shite, cannot adjust them anymore, REALLY stiff, front dampers are actually knocking

At work we seen the really cheap £150 coilovers pretty much falling apart and in effect you are putting your life in them....

I would look at getting something a little more..... suited to their intended job.

yeah mate i no what your sayin but there's only 1 way to find out, its also like buying top notch coilovers second hand tho,

i dont have extra cash as i just bought my house and i needed 2 springs so that was 50bucks plus i have just replace 1 of the eibach shocks which i assume the rest will follow soon springs and shock would cost 100 and only half a job,

so for a extra 80bucks i just decided replace everything! sell my shocks recoup some cash and then look for some AP's brother has them on the bora!!

That is fair point at the end of the day money does have its play and I have been there as well so, don't get me wrong at times you have to do it.

Sorry I work in the tuning trade and it just kills me when people spend a good amount on their engines and skimp on the suspension and brakes - Even more so as I am in the VAG scene on 1.8T and 1.9TDI engines power is cheap and easy to get out of....... I wonder if your bro got the AP coilovers from me hahaaa!
