1997 E36 318 - Springs / dampers

just bought some jamex lowering springs for my e36 318i 1997 40mm at front... 35 at rear, r these springs any good or just cheap nasties??? also would it be needed 2 fit shortened dampers at the rear as a mate of mine had an e30 2.5 an his tended 2 bottom out alot without these dampers??? cheers:thumbsup

Shortened dampers are only required when going beyond a 40mm drop.

Jamex have been around for donkeys years and I've heard mixed reviews. Looking at the price they seem fair:thumbsup

I should imagine your mate probably went for a 60mm drop to experience his vehicle bottoming out. You should be fine with a 40-35:thumbsup
