    Hi all i hope someone can help me.If i have to hit the brakes hard for some reason the n/s/f wheel locks and the car is fitted with abs.I had the brake pads and discs changed about 8 weeks ago and still the same thing.Nedd to get this sorted soon as i have my mot coming up next month and dont want it to fail on this plus its a safety side.Thanks

    In ignition does the ABS light come on and then dissapear?

    No abs light has never been on

    No I meant does it come on before you start the car and then turn off?

    Because if it doesn't then the bulbs been removed. Probably a dodgey ABS sensor so best of getting it on the diagnostics machine and finding out which sensor it is. But before you do that physicaly check each sensor for dirt on the face off it. Easy enough job just one screw and whip it out

    It won;t fail on MOT. Just don't press the brake as hard.

    Do a search through my posts i've told how to check for a suspected sticky caliper..

    found out wot the prob was.The pipe had a split init and had rusted up.At the same time my mate did strip the cailpers down and gave the a good clean up

    Yeah I read in the other thread, 40 quid was it including the EBC pads? Bargain to be honest. Pads alone cost more than that
