    My brake warning light come on the other day. So i changed the brakes and the senor and the light will not go off. I have cleaned all round where the sensor goes but the light is still on.
    Any help please

    What symbol is coming up on the dash>?

    and have you fitted new sensors on both sides? are they correctly fitted and plugged in?

    try putting ignition key on number 2 for 30 seconds. wait untill it goes off after 30 seconds. then its fixed. if not then its another problem. like said above it may be you haven't replaced sensors or fitted them properly

    Are these genuine BMW parts that you have fitted?

    There is a lot of junk out there on the market these days. Be careful - especially when it comes to wear indicator leads, as cheap leads often melt at too low a temperature, or trigger themselves for no apparent reason...!

    If the parts are quality/original parts, then it is a fault at the car-end. Because of the way that wear indicator leads work, there is not really another explanation.

    i had the pads and new leads from eurocarparts.
    Yeah they are plugged in and fitted right. (Well likes Right)
    I will try the ignition key on number 2 for 30 seconds when i get up.
    There is only one sensor on the passager side mate.
    Will let you all now later.
    BTW. sorry thought it was in the right one mate.

    I have just tryed to reset the light and it didnt work :(. the light worked but now i cant get it off. wot should i look for?

    Check the pads and sensor on the drivers side rear.....

    Looked at the rear brakes of my car last night. Brake pads was fine but the sensor wire was snapped. Light has gone off now.
