Can anyone tell me the ins and outs of doing this mod? is it a straight fit?

Where do you get a Z3 rack? been keeping an eye on ebay and nothing ever comes on.

    Any tips and hints?

I found all the relevant information in this post. http://www.bavarian-board.co.uk/foru....asp?TID=25831

I know you get around a bit so if you do a search on Caboosemoose posts elsewhere he has recently written a review of the Z3 rack in his E36 328.
