OK guys, I've just fixed one problem on my 323 (camshaft sensor), only for it to be replaced by another

It happened when I was doing some "enthusiastic" driving in the snow if you know what i mean . I was giving a lift home to some slightly drunk friends and as we approached a junction one of them reached for the handbrake and gave it a good ol yank. This meant I went sideways (always good!) but at the same time I was trying to give it a boot full to make it go sideways myself (not so good). I'm not sure but my other mate who was sober says I might have hit the curb with the left rear, and it was after this "incident" that I noticed the light was on.

When you start the car, the light goes out as normal and the ABS works. But after a few seconds it's back on and the ABS doesn't work.

Is there any way of checking the sensors without plugging it in at a garage? Or does anyone know of a definite fault?

    Thanks guys!

Just thought I'd update the situation. I had a look at the thread from wolvesdug and took his advice of checking the sensors from the ECU end. The front right sensor was giving different readings each time I tested it, so I've ordered another one. Will let you know if it fixes it.
