95 quid for fitting sounds like a very good deal, Rip their arm off. Do they realise how much work is involved on your car Actually, do they know what they are doing?

Take some before and after pictures, some during would be cool too if you are staying with the car

Some mechanics are able to do a quality job in a short amount of time. Usually it is the adjustment that takes the time but it will be good to see how they get on

Isn't it the E34 were the whole rear end (seats, pillars and parcel shelf need to be removed to access the rear shock mounts)

2 hours will be good going in my opinion, I would expect it to take closer to 4 especially as the bolts etc could cause issues.

In order to assist the fitter it would be recommended that you drown all the nuts and bolts that need to be undone in penetrating fluid or WD-40 on a couple of occasions before it goes to the garage

In that case fitting should only take an hour tops

So they are allowing an hour for adjusting which is much more likely.
