I've been trying to find out information about wheel spacers. Basically, my saloon is still sat on its standard 15" wheels (bless it) which I want to keep on for a while yet. I was thinking of fitting some spacers to fill the arches out a little more. The car is lowered 30mm already.

Apart from looking better are there any other benefits such as better turn in / less understeer? Or am I going to ruin the rather lovely handling and have the tyres rubbing against the body work?

    Kelly.

I had a set on my old 318i and TBH apart from filling the arch I didnt notice any difference to the handling....

But if you do use them, make sure you get a good quality set that are hubcentric. Look for Eibach or FK spacers....
