ok guys, i just bought some coilovers for my car and now i was looking for some top mounts to go with those. i bought brand new uprated rear ones (oem, z3 i think). hopefully, they will do the job, as i won't be tracking the car, nor will i lower it too much). now, the dilemma is for the front. i found two, which are close to my budget. blue ones - £90, silver ones - £115. what do you guys reckon? i would go for the blue ones, as they are cheaper and seem easier to adjust, once fitted. but i do need some extra opinions on this, as i might be wrong. did any of you tried them, or know someone who did?

    cheers,
    gabriel

no one? i would really appreciate a piece of advice, as i'm leaning towards the blue ones, but i'm affraid not to regret afterwards not buying the silver ones. any recommendations?

i have no experience with this mod tbh...but looking at those blue ones, are they a direct bolt in fit?
looks like you might have to cut your tower tops so the camber bolts are accessible???

good point, haven't thought of that! i guess they have to be adjusted before fittment then? coz cutting the towers doesn't really sound appealing to me..

i am running the blue ones on my Z3. they are well made and easy to adjust. they also make the steering much lighter via the rose joint.

    thumbs up from me

and you dont have to cut the towers to adjust them

I am not sure how easy it would be to actually adjust the ones on the right, having to remove the bolts, jack up the car and turn the plate around - no thanks. Imagine that in a couple of years with all the road dirt and stuff on them. Whilst you might not alter them all the time, it's the blue ones or standard for me....
