    are the springs on the front of a 318 i s coupe fairly easy to remove and swop for 30mm lowering springs? and how hard is the back end to drop as it is on coil overs?

    I have moved this thread to the correct section of the forum so that it receives the appropriate attention

    The springs are easy enough to replace so long as you have the correct tools

    Have a look at this guide, it's for an E30 but is the same principal

    You will need a decent set of spring compressors to swap the springs over but the rest is very simple. 18mm and 13mm nuts and bolts. IIRC the nut that holds the strut top on is 21mm
