Iam in the process of turning my coupe into a track car, for cheap fun and thrills.
I currently use ebc yellows and ate fluid on my other car, i was planning to do the same to the bm.
Iam after a cheap supplier for the yellows, and mayb sum input if any one has used this or a similar setup on the track?

I use Mintex and can't fault them (not on the track though). Cheap too.

I've always used green stuff with EBC discs and rate their performance highly but you'll find many other recommendations

I had them fitted all around on my 1992 E36 318is accompanied with goodridge stainless steel hoses and uprated brake fluid

    Hey Russ.

Just remember no matter what brake pads you choose if you don't bed them in properly you'll never get the full benifit.

    Hey mate.

Just fitting the fronts will be fine mate , it does depend on the condition of your discs though . Use a good quality dot4 fluid .

    Good luck

we have a couple of forum vendors that specialise in the braking dept...crn or bremsen could probably steer you in the right direction
ferodo ds2500 meant to be good...i run redstuff and cant really fault them.

    crn http://www.bimmerforums.co.uk/forum/f132/
    bremsen http://www.bimmerforums.co.uk/forum/f117/
i have no experience with yellowstuff but its ebc's track pad, so i suppose its what you are after ate blue is the disc sets?
are you trailering this car to the circuit?...if not i would opt for a fast road pad like redstuff.
check what crn or bremsen say though...they are the experts
