Calipers will have the part numbers stamped on the outside of them, look for some letering "ATE" it should be below that.

On a 3 series im not sure if the calipers will be alloy or steel, if they are steel the numbers may be obsucred by years of rust. Use a wire brush to clean them out.

Hi there, Just a note, shot in the dark to help you,
i changed my 1994 320is caliper, i went to the scrappy and got one off a 318is, they was exactly the same. im sure the 325 is are the same as your aswell.
    i paid £20 for mine.
if you go to a breakers yard that is!
Its the size of the caliper that is different not there load!
    good luck

Hi Im still trying to id front brake caliper Ive found this pic ..

The calipers I`m finding on the net arent smooth like that but have ridges in castings like this .....

And I`m being told they will fit is that right .

you can also see from pictures that they dont have the oem number on them.

The car I need them for is a family members who lives far away from me so I cant checked his car
