I have a 07 330i m-sport with the common MV3 wheels. One of them cracked so I had it repaired but it looks like its gone again. The other rear wheel might also be cracked as it doesn’t hold air for more than a few days. I know most of the BMW wheels from this era had a reputation for cracking but did they ever solve the problem a release decent rims for these cars? If so which are they?

I had style 157's non msport but looked very good. They were only 17's so that's probably the reason and I was running non run flats

General consensus is that it's the runflat tyres that cause them to crack but the 19" wheels are far more prone to cracking than the 18s. If you replace/repair your cracked one and stick regular tyres on it then you should be fine.

I have Style 189 18" as my winter set - of the all the ones I've looked at on ebay I think I've only seen one welded one

Alternatively, F30 alloys with 10mm spacers on the rear would fit

p.s. MV3s are 'popular' not 'common'!

MV3s seem to be susceptible to cracking - non runflats help but don't eradicate the problem
