ive supercharged my e36 328i with the rotrex charger. ive had it roling roaded and its a touch under 300bhp

i have noticed recently that its using a fair bit more fuel and its smelling like its running rich. also under full boost i get some black smoke. not enough for me to notice, been told by a mate whos sat behind trying to keep up

im thinking maybe the air mass is playing up... any other ideas or places to look?

any help would be really great

    this is my setup

hi mate, luckily i brought a full kit off a 328i so had everything i needed. came with everything including the ecu, all i needed was a few clips and to mod the bumper to take the intercooler. if you can find a kit they are mint!! makes all the difference in the world!

It's likely to be set up to overfuel for safety. You'll see Jap turbo cars do the same.

    Better and safer to overfuel
Get a good a/f meter fitted and monitor results for yourself. Its a good idea to fit one for engine safety !
