What exhaust diameter is ideal then? Something like a 2.5 inch? I will be doing this on my M42 if it makes any difference.

What about a system designed for a 325/328? Assuming it was fitted using a 'Y' pipe to join it up.

but your restriction is still before the Y piece. plus a 2 pipe system will have a higher pressure drop.

Smart looking kit that. Does it run off of the standard ECU and MAF set up?

it is doing at the mo but a custom remap is planned and possibly new injectors and maf!

its doable on the e30 too! just read this months pbmw mag and there is a e30 with 258 rwhp using the same kit!

I told you that issue was worth reading!

    Apparently the 325/328 MAF works.

Where are you looking at going for the remap? There's a few places along the M4 I'd recommend.

I would concentrate on getting charge temps down first before going bigger injectors and maf.
