Hi guys im looking at either turbo or supercharging my e36 m3 3.0l. I can only find supercharger kits for the 3.2l. Would like some advice on what to do. The car is also gonna be used for trackdays!cheers

If your going to track it, i would say supercharger as it would be a lot more reliable when thrashing it for a long period. But a turbo conversion is absolutly awesome, i knew someone that did this and was running approx 550bhp. It was great fun, but i doubt it would have lasted long on a track, unless you have lots of cash to keep chucking at it.

It was more of a friend of a friend at the time, but he said he had it done at a garage that was right next door to thruxton race track. Apparently they specialise in BMW's for tracking. Unsure of names though, sorry. You may be able to find it if you google it. And yes, turbo cars are great fun, i had a 750bhp skyline, you can't beat the adrenaline rush from a quick turbo car. I need my mpg now though, so i bought a turbo diesel instead. Not quite the same lol.

Yes, that rings a bell, im not sure about the kit buddy. Apparently these people are meant to be good though, he said they did a lot of custom fabrication, might be worth giving them a call, im sure they won't send you an invoice for that

I have most of the parts to fit twin screw to my 94 M3, but it is all custom, nothing any good off the shelf for RHD cars unfortunately

What sort of cost would someone be looking at to supercharge an M3 Evo?
