    an M3 is just as good as a turbo car when ot comes to drifting.

    the turbo route is just a though..... m3 or 328 turbo? turbo sounds a little different

    Agreed a 328 turbo does stand out more than just M3.and will probably be a bit quicker,if you head for the 400bhp mark.
    well, if you decide to go for it, keep me updated.

    would the gearbox be able to handle the increase in torque though?

    Do you not think he'd have to upgrade brakes if he put in an M3 engine with running gear??

    Nevermind, I have a 328 and have def been thinkin about turbo'n it like and makin a serious car and gettin an m3 as the daily runner

    i ve turbo,d my 520I e39 bmw with no internal mods seeing how much it take before i do an m3 its done 197,000 miles and so far have tried 3.62 psi boost and copes well went a bit over the top with a t3/4 but gonna try 7 psi soon just uprating the fueling again then off we go.

    Id love to turbo mine. 7-9 psi would be enough for m3 power surely? Cool noises too.
