    Here are some pics of the S50 engine getting assembled.








    Here you can see where a missing piece goes and stopped us from putting the sump and head on.









    It´ll be sitting pretty in the car by the end of the week.

    So it was not sitting in the car was it.

    Anyway the head is on for it´s first torque down. I´ll be checking the initial headstud torque tomorrow, I had to go 7 times over them to make sure they where not loosening up. So when I do go 90° + 90° , they will be uniform in clamping force and non of them will be overstressed compared to the other ones.

    Engines TDC was also found and marked to I can be sure the ignition timing is 100% accurate.

    The original timing mark looks to be very very close to dead on.






    I´m hoping tomorrow the top part of the head goes on. And that means it´s pretty close to being able to go in.
