Nice work, found some of your input on threads about turbo M50's pretty useful on the DriftWorks forum too, so thanks
Very, very keen to try and get a 325T together this year for as cheap as possible while being reliable.

    So results for the 2.8

To clarify, this steel block 2.8 has a m50 intake manifold, 0.14mls gasket, ARP2000 head studs, dual intake cams, the inlet side is advanced like a vanos would do. Split pulse manifold, borg warner s256 , 0.83 A/R housing. 1700cc injectors. fully open "3 system.

This is 1.3bar boost wheel and flywheel calculated. Not sure how to compare this to a dynojet results.

Thanks to the proper manifold I can also run down to 3psi boost as seen here.
    no creep at all.

Its clear the the advanced inlet is causing the severe drop in torque after 5500rpm. But given the chunky torque curve I think it´s something to live with, the goal was 550hp but 20shy is not a biggy.

I looked through the logs, these are near accurate numbers based on logs and calculated tire size based on Goodyears figures minus wear on the tire.

    60-130mph

    3-4th 8.855sek
    4th 9.7sek
    5th 10.4sek

I´ll give it a bit better test when I replace the gearbox with a ZF box from a 328i which should handle quick shifts better, I wasn´t really trying hard in between 3rd and 4th either. I think the 8.855 which is partially calculated is about as good as it´ll get. Maybe at best shave off 0.2sec.

I am from the states, and working on an m50 swap into my '84 733. Definitely want to turbo it, but I am wondering if the stock internals can handle the power. Also what is this VEMS, do you have others, and how can I acquire it. A plug and play system would be ideal
