Eye thats why I was wondering what internal mods he is planning, running a turbo on a standard block will probably last about ten minutes unless its on very low boost. If he runs a dropped comp ratio, stronger rods etc reliability shouldnt be an issue

HI mate m36 1.6 turbo a standard e36 1.6 is 105bhp mate and schrick cam and headwork about 15bhp up stage 1 and 2 cam head had some porting and gas flow work. Also underdrive pulleys for improving your enigne slightly smaller lightweight ally better throttle response reducing the rotating mass building safety for the water pump this means the lightweight versions sap less power from engine given power back to engine for free engine will pull harder lower down in the rev range enlarged throttle effect getting rid of bottleneck in the gas flow from intake system into inlet manifold getting rid of hold ups for air and increase the fuelling to and remap with turbo. maybe nitous oxide thinks 47 bhp intake k and n single figure bhp increases dtm scorpian straight through see 5bhp dont forget about bhp from turbo should be good

The diesel engine is a 8valve engine, the M43 is a 16valve engine, the exhaust ports are almost guarenteed not to be the same.
With great challenges comes great engineering.
