I have built an M52b28 turbo using the aluminium block, but I'm running 400-450bhp

I've had a read through your project on the link...
I can't really advise you to be honest, my research has only seen 500bhp+ projects using an steel block.
I don't know the limits of the aluminium block so would only advise to keep it under 500bhp.
    Or
Try it?... See how much power you can push it to before it goes pop or melts, then rebuild with a steel block.
Let me know how you get on please
